The Adopt a Family Fund - IRS Authorized 503c Charity

The Adopt a Family Fund began in 1999 and was formally recognized by the US Government as a
charity in 2003.

Our mission and purpose is to support the needy physically, spiritually and emotionally through
participant volunteers and financial supporters mainly through the Believer's in Christ and their
friends.

We have no desire for Grants or Government assistance as we desire this ministry to be personal
and one which will bring the givers and accepters together so that all may benefit in the Love it
creates.

** One thing to note is that no one can ever be paid through the fund; this organization
is a 100% Volunteer manage fund.  If you desire to donate to the payment of
Hondurans to work and run the fund please contact Tom Elsmore for that information.
 But no volunteer through the Adopt a Family Fund will ever be paid by the funds
donated.

** The fund will also not have any overhead; the overhead costs will be handled
through a separate fund.  This means each penny you donate equals one penny used
to actually help someone that needs it.
Dear Friends,

Our next Mission is in 2009 and we will taking on a special project that
we feel is ordained by Jesus Christ our King.  We are going to go and
serve in one of the most dangerous parts of Honduras, a gang infested
section of La Ceiba that you need permission to go into (By the gangs
and not the police).  Please pray that we can be amply supplied with the
Love of Jesus Christ and the Almighty power of Jehovah our God as we
embark on this new venture.
